WE'RE SORRY...

When we launched Black Gates 4.1% Nitro Stout, we said it was PUB ONLY.
It was November 2024; noone was choosing INDEPENDENT BLACK STUFF. Yet.

Then Bristol stepped up. They didn't split the G, they SPLIT THE B.

Because of you, and because of Black Gates 4.1%, BS1 is now the LOWEST SELLING POSTCODE of Guinness in the whole UK.

But it's not just Bristol. Even during this year's Men's Six Nations, Black Gates 4.1% is pouring in pubs from Exeter to Swindon. Check the map to find a pint.

And yet, there's still more of you that WANT A TRY. At home. At the park.

"It's a Nitro Stout!" we said, "the creamy head simply cannot come from a can!"

WE WERE WRONG. And we did it without a 'widget', which by the way, can't be recycled. But more importantly, it passed our rigorous taste testing (a tough gig).

So without further ado, we're happy to admit: BLACK GATES IS NOW IN CAN.
It's VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE. It's INDEPENDENT. And it tastes damn good.
