Together, we will guide you through 5 courses of picnic style favourites, showcasing the best locally sourced produce. Each course will be paired with unique chutneys and sauces by Ginger Beard and a taster or two of BBF beer, brewed onsite.
WHO IS GINGER BEARD?
Harry Calvert is the beard behind Ginger Beard’s Preserves, a local Bristol company creating modern chutneys, jams, pickles and more, using your favourite beers. We’re partial to a Porter Pickled Egg in the Tap Room. Popped inside a bag of crisps and served alongside a pint, of course.
WHY THE COLLAB?
We teamed up with Harry and Claire several months ago to concoct a new chutney, using our Southville Hop IPA. The result was the stunning Apricot and Ale Chutney. Available from the 16th September in the Tap Room and direct from Ginger Beard’s website, it’s brimming with boozy raisins and warm spices.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: The picnic-inspired set menu will not be prepared in-house; instead, each course features produce sourced directly from local Bristol artisans including bread, cheese, fish and meat. Please discuss any dietary requirements with us in advance as we may not be able to offer any alternatives to the set menu offering on the night.
