NOTHING TASTES LIKE THAT CLASSIC PAIRING – MUSIC AND BEER, BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER.
“This idea was born out of a pure love for Bristol and the sounds this epic city produces. The three vinyl speeds allow for three very different beers in this series; 3.3% 4.5% & 7.8%. Artist collaborations fit the beers perfectly bringing the classics and the outrageous together.”
CLEM ELPHICK, BRISTOL BEER FACTORY
WHITE LABEL – 3.3%
BELGIAN TABLE BEER
Starting this series true to style, we’ve spun the 33 into a 3.3% clean and crisp Belgian table beer. This is Bristol Beer Factory’s very own white label release - at our slowest speed.
BOCA 45 – 4.5%
HONEYCOMB | US-NZ-GER HOPS | AMBER ALE
Boca 45 is Bristol’s vinyl DJ hero. Timed perfectly to celebrate his latest album Forty-Five, taste Boca’s love for amber with a hint of honeycomb and NZ, German and US hops.
BANOFFEE PIES – 7.8%
HEFE | BANOFFEE PIE | PALE
Banoffee Pies Records are a Bristol based Label and music platform exploring many avenues of electronic and contemporary music. This pale is inspired by and brewed with the BPR guys - think hefe, neapolitan, and toffee.
Bristol Beer Factory is honouring the city’s musical heritage, underground DJ culture and dub plate pressings with its very own vinyl series. BBF has brought some of the city’s best DJs into the brewery to create something special.
Starting this series true to style, we’ve spun the 33 into a 3.3% clean and crisp Belgian table beer. This is Bristol Beer Factory’s very own white label release – at our slowest speed. With Ardennes yeast and big American hops, this is a pale, smashable, small beer.
Dig, Eat, Beats, Repeat – four words that sum up Boca 45 - otherwise known as Scott Hendy - Bristol’s vinyl DJ hero. So together with the man himself we’ve brewed Boca 45 – a 4.5% amber ale - to celebrate the release of his latest album Forty-Five. Taste Boca’s love for amber with a hint of honeycomb and NZ, German and US hops; picked to honour the artists that have collaborated in the album.
Boca 45, Scott Hendy, says “I’m a proud Bristolian born and bred. My favourite things in life are my family, music, football and brown beer.
“When BBF approached me to make a signature beer with them it was like a life achievement tick! I can’t wait for us to come up with something tasty to coincide with the 1st single from my forthcoming LP – Forty-Five!”
What makes this taste all the more sweeter, is our joint launch party at local drinking institution the Gallimaufry on Sat 9th February, where we will be giving away 20 limited edition BBF Gold BOCA 45 vinyl singles.
Check out how Scott Hendy, aka Boca 45, got on getting his hands dirty in the brewery.
BBF has also paired with maverick mixers Banoffee Pies Records - a Bristol-based label and music platform. This 7.8% pale ale, inspired by the label’s namesake flavours and brewed with the BPR guys themselves - think Hefeweizen (banana), vanilla and lactose all on a buttery biscuit base.
Ell Weston says “Bristol Beer Factory is a big favourite of ours and always provides the most interesting and experimental flavours sat on the bar.
“It’s been a real pleasure working to create this concept, and of course there is a great sense of community in Bristol and this collaboration just shows how happy people in the city are to work together on new ideas. Enjoy this banoffee blend.”
Taste this amazing new beer as well as get down to Banoffee Pies’ distinctive sounds at our 7.8% Banoffee Pie beer launch party on Saturday 2nd March at the Christmas Steps.
Ell from Banoffee Pies Records joins the BBF brewers for a day brewing a specially created 7.8% Hefeweizen for the Vinyl Series.
